#10 Kentucky vs Florida on now

It's on the SEC channel which is on channel 123 on Cox Meriden. As an aside, Cox is awesome for sports channels. I don't think we have a sports package but we get just about every sports channel there is.

Anyway, Kentucky leads Florida 12-10 after 8 minutes in the first half. The game is in Kentucky.

Having watched Florida play recently I can tell you they can not score whatsoever. But that might not stop them from giving Kentucky a game.

THere's nothing scary about Kentucky whatsoever.

If Florida could hit the ocean from a boat, they'd be up 20 by now. As it is, they're up 20-15.

Kentucky just isn't very good. I'd put the # of good teams at about 6. Next year there could be about 8-10 good teams and the top few could be outstanding.

I turned the game off when Florida put up an uncontested layup and it hit the bottom of the rim.

Not sure how Mitchell sees his team as a "top contender". Florida is 9-8, and 1-3 in the SEC, yet they are giving Kentucky all they can handle. It would be like UCONN almost losing to Temple...

At least Ole Miss, who is leading Georgia by 2, is 13-4 this season and 3-1 in the SEC. Honestly though, I just don't think the SEC is that good. I have no hard facts, and not sure if the teams mostly had creampuff schedules, or if WCBB is just really average this year, but seeing some of the dregs of the SEC give some of the "upper" teams all they can handle speaks ill of the conference as a whole (IMHO)...
