The Hillsman-Russell matchup is worth the price of admission. These two are working their butts off
 
This half has been a much better effort by both teams. A&M is all over Nared so she’s only effective in fits and starts

I like Chennedy’s Carters game but she needs some discipline

42-41 A&M in this back and forth game
 
A&M getting no garbage points sine Tenn is on a mission to rebound. They can’t stop Carter, though. Yet Tenn is up 48-44on some nice play by Nared. The kid should/could be a superstar in a different system
 
Weird side note -I love Howard’s hair but wonder if it ever gets in her way

Hillsman has been terrific, closes the gap to two 50-48 but Russell is playing hard too. She can’t create her own shot, though many centers can’t
 
Carter is electrifying. She’ll be scary as an upperclassmen. She drew an important foul on Russell, sending her to the bench.

Game tightens to 50-49
 
Much smarter play by both team, both feeding the post. Too bad about Russels fouls as her sub is no match for Hillsman

Now 54-52 Aggies with Russell on the bench
 
Russell is back in but is now cautious on defense, which could be a problem for the LVs.

A&M up by three at end of third quarter

Carter is an incredible player. I think she could be a NPOY in future is she learns the subtleties of the game.
 
I think whoever shoots the ball last before the final whistle will win. It’s a back and forth game.

Nared is having a quietly effective game but needs to take over more. She has all the tools

5 minutes left in the game, and Gary Blair has once again fallen asleep on the Bench. Carter is exhausted and she is still in the game. Give her a rest before the Media timeout and have her refreshed for the last 2-3 minutes of the game. He's not an end of game coaching genius.
 
Not sure why but Tenn has lost its composure.

Carter now taking wild shots. A&M has missed its last 10shots, still up 70-68

The game is tied after Nared’s layup. Unfortunately, the game has also reverted to first half form
 
Why are these teams so out of shape? This game looks like it's being played in sand. So slow.
 
wow, tuned into this on espn3 after the conclusion of ND Louisville. This is painful to watch on both ends. What's up with how short that girl's shorts are? (I'd give a name or number, but the ESPN streaming is painfully blurry)
