Do you know how many NFL scouts were there yesterday? Was it a decent amount? I saw a few mentioned, Giants, Jets, Colts but was wondering if anyone had a full list? Also any 40 times?

I know for a fact some coaches reached out to one of our senior players during our 2020 not playing season and asked him to leave UConn and come to their school. Said player wasn’t in the portal and they were trying to poach him right out from under the coaches noses. It happens more than you think

They will have 4 days of practices plus interviews before the game on Thursday. Plenty of time to evaluate and see who they want to draft.

Not a lot had graduated that are in the portal. Most have at least a year left some more than that. I just looked through to see what most said when said they were transferring.. one grad transfer or two and rest have more than that left to play.

I can tell you at least 9 of our guys transferring were told to look elsewhere. Mora wanted to free up those scholarships and so they were called into his office before the Xmas break and told to look elsewhere. Not all kids want to leave.. some have no choice. Edsall sis the same thing.. like...

The block C was Edsalls. . He pushed for it to return and I did like it.. however.. thats who I think of when I see it… Edsall.. He always tried to live in those glory days 10 years ago and he always posted older videos of the former players.. not much on the kids he recruited the past 4 years...

Yes they are in the process of meeting this week and telling the kids mostly redshirt juniors weather they want them back or not. Mora is not wasting any time

Jack is back in Montreal. He played 3 games and didn’t want to burn his redshirt.. don’t think he’s coming back any time soon. Leon will be the backup QB for Houston

Just listened to it on ESPNU.. off campus with mark packer. Coach Mora is a great coach and we are lucky he came to UConn. we are fortunate to have a coach who’s so highly respected. I can’t remember when anyone of this level was interested in talking to a UConn football coach in a while...

Not true. Krajewski was ready to go as the starter and they decided on Thursday to start jack instead. Came completely out of the blue. Krajewski had been the starter last 7 games and thought he would be starting. Not sure who made the change but it threw the oline off as well
