If you were an elite Point Guard why would you want to come to play at UConn with the offense that Hurley currently runs?
I have my own opinions, but I would like to hear other peoples thoughts
UConn is Currently Ranked 323 out of 350 D1 schools against man to man defense according to Synergy Sports Tech.
And 324th in FG Percentage against man to man
Against zone defense they are 154th
This is all on Hurley and the result of how poor his man to man offense really is.
Everyone is...
Hurley's offense just doesn't put players in positions to utilize their strengths and make plays. I don't know how they don't see this when they watch hours of game fill trying to figure out what went wrong. I think it's pretty obvious.
His horns set and weave set they run need to go ASAP
It...
Hurleys offense is horrible and it’s frustrating to watch.
He’s got to stop running that Horns set and that weave action
-Players are never put in position to make plays
-The spacing is AWFU
-Not setting and using good screens off the ball
-No off the ball movement
-The bigs have no business...
What impact does the current NCAA investigation have on Hurley coming to Uconn?
If the school is is using just cause to fire Ollie then there could potentially be major violations that could cost Uconn in the future.
Why would someone commit to something without the NCAA finishing their...
With Ollie out, Akinjo already de-committing, and the rumors of a mass exudes, it's about to get real ugly.
The new NCAA transfer rule that is expected to pass will allow players to transfer and play right away if their coach leave is going to make this real interesting.
What would stop...
We need a true point guard to lead them and without Gilbert we are in big trouble. There is no leader or anyone that can get them into their offense.
Adams is not that guy he’s not making anyone else better
The team can’t run the offense because Adams, Anderson, and Vital can’t get them into...
The real diffrence was the match up zone was designed to take uconns guards out of the game. They over played the guards out on the outside and even double teamed the ball. They never left bazz or boat the whole second half
They were gonna make someone else beat them
If uconn was gonna win that...
As ugly as this game was they never gave up and found a way to win. Last years team would have quit when they were down 10.
For them to get killed on the boards like they did and to have our guards start the first half 1-17, and every bounce seemed to go the other teams way you have to be...
