    Jackson?!

I know, I know, everyone mislead you that he'd be a superstar this year. This isn't Kentucky, rarely happens here. UConn is brutal on fanboys. You've been duped. Happens every year. You'll get used to it.

    Cole and Gaff

To be fair, Cole needs time to adjust to real D1 comp. I just hope we don't to get to a point where we long for a solid pg like AG when he's hitting his shots. Its early, maybe the two can combine into 1 like some power ranger thing.

    Cole and Gaff

This is true! Lets hope it pays off.

    Cole and Gaff

Its not on you or Cole, I'm pretty sure they ran AG off because Gaff was the answer. Don't sweat it.

    Cole and Gaff

I wouldn't say Cole does nothing, but I would've loved to have Al back. Especially since his shot is on.

    Week 2: 11/30 - 12/6

Kentucky, Duke and UNC all losing. I think (bet) the freshman teams are going to have a much harder time this year with all the corona chaos. Will be harder for those teams to come together versus the veteran teams.

I was really looking forward to watching Alterique play tonight until I realized its on ESPN+

Wow, 6-7 free throws. Seems his shooting may be much more on track this season.

    Duke is getting ANNIHILATED

Jay Bilas leaving us out of the tier B blueblood class. Says MSU, Gonzaga and Villa.

Kansas gonna smoke Kentucky tonight. I took the -3. Duke / MSU will be very interesting too.

It just goes to show that buying muscle is a lot easier than building it.

I was referring to the fridge, Sanogo. But if javonte adds muscle, he can be a fridge too.

OT: Black Friday / Cyber Monday

She says its not as stable. I've used them a while ago and don't recall it being problematic. I need to reach gutters about 19' high. I also want to use it around other parts of the house as a folded ladder where the gutters are 10'-14' high and I don't want to buy two ladders. I have a 6'...

Do people like the straight extension or those Little Giant ladders? I was going to get the Little Giant type (or other brand) but the mother-in-law is trying to talk me out of it.

OT: Black Friday / Cyber Monday

Anyone have success yet? I've grabbed some knick-knacks, but not much luck on bigger items. Looking to do online only with delivery, curbside if I have to. Just bought a house so looking for battery yard equipment, a 22' ladder, a mt bike, toddler toys and a treadmill, amongst other things...

And we finally have someone with some muscle that won't get pushed around on the block. Bout time. It also doesn't hurt to have a deep roster in a pandemic.

    OT: Stock trading

^^^^^^ THIS. This is how you play the crypto market. Buy and sell in many small amounts to conservatively ride the ebbs and flows. However, if this bull run is totally legit, alts may just keep running up. But who knows? If BTC retraces, everything else will too.

    OT: Stock trading

I did the same after the vaccine news. Made a bunch, left some on the table. Played the conservative way and took profits. I've made peace with it, buts it tough to watch.

One of my main alts STRAT/STRAX finally moved and went 90% over the last 24 hrs.

UConn has all the goods to go all the way

You know basketball is afoot when the annual scrappy thread is posted. Time to get excited.

And just like that, most alts up +15% today. Still a lot of room to reach tulip level prices.

    OT: Stock trading

I haven't been researching crypto as much as I used to, particularly because the stock market has been fun enough. But one can't help to notice that altcoins are not following btc like the last time it went off. Been buying up alts as their sats decrease with btc's rise. Waiting for the pop.

    OT: Stock trading

I didn't quit my job, but have done quite well swing trading. Bummed that Mnuchin pulling funding didn't dump the market this morning so I can get back in. I may miss my chance before the stimulus. Volatility is your friend.

    Beer

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge is excellent. Not as sweet as CBS. Personally not a fan of the Espresso. Also been drinking a lot of Prairie Bourbon Paradise lately. Fantastic beer, but not cheap.

The James Bond election challege for drinkers

I bartended a decade ago. If someone ordered a martini and you gave them gin, they'd look at you sideways. And this was in a 40's to 60's age group establishment. Vermouth is no longer a thing either.

The James Bond election challege for drinkers

The martini was traditionally gin at the time too.

    That time of year again

Checking out The Haunting of Bly Manor on netflix by the same producers as Hillhouse. Would be tough to live up to it. Also I see Netflix has Adam Sandler's Halloween movie that appears to be his slapstick movie of the month. Anyone brave enough? Anything else good out there?

    COBRA Kai

8 episodes in. Very cute, nostalgic and some good laughs. The wife loved it. The fight scene between Robbie and his 2 crime buddies may have been the worst fight choreography I've ever seen. Probably should've used doubles.

    Celeron

The year before my freshman year was the riots in '98. My freshman year was the ship. They started to try to control things after that. Shortly after I left I heard it had all been qualmed. Kill-a-keg was around way before that though.

    Celeron

That's when I lived there. Saw the cars get flipped. Got my first taste of pepper spray, even though I wasn't one of those perpetrators. Our apartment window was right above the end of the trail. Would watch 1,000's of people stream in from campus. I believe it went: Thurs: Kill-a-keg in...

Could March Madness have been going on right now?

We could've done a lot of things, we did do a lot of things. No one knows anything for sure, except for the fact that we still have over 1,000 people dying a day.

OT: Who is/was your most famous/successful blood relative?

My lineage goes back to the Salem witch that got away. Thank God she did. My wife's grandfather was mayor of a capital city for about 25 years. We don't live near there, but her extended family are basically celebrities there. He has buildings named after him.
