Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

After the UConn/Butler game, I switched to watch the end of the Syracuse/Cal game. Dome was empty. Then the BC/Stanford game came on. Conte Forum is empty. The downside of conference realignment.

Remember, the ACC pays Notre Dame $20 million to also broadcast 2 or 3 ND football games per year when the ACC school is the home team. Based on ratings, you could argue that ND is underpaid for the ACC football games.

    ESPN Mid-Season COTY Candidates

What are you talking about? Cignetti was 52-9 at JMU or 85.2% winning percentage.

UMass > MAC for all sports in 2025-2026

What people forget is that during the season of UMass' Final Four run, UMass played a great out of conference schedule: OOC with the opponent's ranking at the time: 1. Kentucky 19. Maryland Florida 10. Wake Forest BC UNC Wilmington 21. Georgia Tech NC State USC 13. Syracuse 3. Memphis Even...

UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

He could have been injured anywhere he played last year and he made good money at Auburn.

    Providence Post Game Thread

I think one of the problems facing the offense is the lack of good passers. During the 2023/2024 season, UConn had a lot of guys who were good passers and had good assist to turnover ratios. This year, UConn does not have that. Ball has an assist to TO ratio of ~1 which is not good enough in...

    Felt like Christmas again

The end of last season to now has been a roller coaster. First, Mora left, then players opted out of the bowl and hit the transfer portal and the team got smoked by Army in the Fenway Bowl. Then the loss of assistant coaches. The one positive during that time was the hiring of Candle. Then...

    More trouble in ACC paradise?

Both the SECN and the ACCN are 80% owned by Disney and 20% owned by Hearst. The ACC gets 50% of the ACCN revenues. The SECN revenues are integrated into the SEC media deal with ESPN. Standalone conference networks right now are still dependent on the cable bundle which is in decline. (Which...

UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

Mora will turn 65 this year and it was inevitable that he was going to leave UConn either due to his age or due to his desire to go out West. He did a great job of turning around and stabilizing UConn football and we all should be grateful for that. I think he was resource constrained at UConn...

    Tucker McDonald is coming back!

Probably for a couple of reasons. He is coming off injury, he should get his UConn degree in one more year, he gets to compete for QB1 and with an injury, he could be QB1, getting money, close to family.

    Hotel for Big East

We have stayed at multiple hotels near MSG over the years and I would focus on price that your group is comfortable with. I don't think there is any one UConn hotel as we have seen fans from most BE schools wherever we stay. During our last BET, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn right next to...

Solo Ball is a great player and key part of this team

Solo is a great player and he will be fine. One thing we have noticed over the past 3 games is that Mullins is playing really well and it looks like more of the shot opportunities are being set up for Mullins and it appears to have taken something out of Ball's game. I think there is a...

UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

In today's college football world, when the head coach leaves, the roster generally implodes. And, the new coach wants to and has to bring in players that are familiar with him and his system. It's not ideal and I don't want it to happen every season.
