    Delaware Post Game Meltdown

Lost too much on D and it’s hard to replace them in the portal, especially DL.

    USF…. (Merged threads)

Sure, costs are higher in Chicago than Tampa, but Northwestern is building probably the "best" college football stadium which costs money. All the seats are padded and protected by a canopy. Comparables will be the most modern NFL stadiums and, due to the limited seating, may be even better...

    USF…. (Merged threads)

I agree that the concept of UNLV in a power conference makes sense, but here is the problem with UNLV. Their athletic budget in 2025 is ~$67 million which is $30 million+ below the bottom of the P4 and they are already losing ~$20 million plus per year. UNLV would need to massively increase...

OT - September 10, 2016 Diaco Calls Timeout

When I view these videos after many years, I wonder, how did he ever get hired? He just doesn't come off as a competent leader of a football program and it must have been obvious in his job interviews.

Game Week 2025: UConn @ Delaware Blue Hens (Saturday 9/13/25 @3p @Delaware Stadium). Game on ESPN+ with audio on the Varsity Network & Fox Sports 97.9

James Madison was performing at the top of FCS before joining FBS. In the 8 seasons before joining FBS, James Madison was 88-18 and Delaware was 57-34. James Madison won a championship, lost the championship game 2x and made the semis 2 other times. Delaware made the semis once during COVID...

    USF…. (Merged threads)

The USF numbers are outdated as they have considerably increased athletics spending for 2024 and 2025. They know that the time is now as conference realignment will heat up in a few years and they want a better landing spot. That said, USF men's basketball has never finished a season ranked...

I’ve asked in threads, where was Mel?

The problem was not the defense yesterday, but the offense after the first drive in the 2nd half. Here was the stretch: 3 and out 1:53 6 plays 3:19 3 and out 1:01 3 and out 1:04 5 plays 2:55

    USF…. (Merged threads)

Your numbers are outdated. USF has significantly increased their AD spending and spent $95.4 million in 2024.

    Non-Key Tweets

Relegation has been going on for a while. It started when the Big 8 combined with the SWC and relegated SMU, Houston, Rice, and TCU. When the ACC raided the Big East, they relegated, in the end, UConn and USF. When the Big 10 raided the Pac 12, they relegated, ultimately, Oregon St. and...

Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

Maryland ended the season ranked 5x in the 70s, 3x in the 80s, and 4x in the 2000s. They have 9 ACC championships. In my opinion, they just need the right coach to help motivate the alums to increase support. Rutgers has a poorly run administration and athletic department which hampers their...

If you are mediocre or worse heading into a new conference, you will continue to be mediocre or worse unless you make wholesale changes.

Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

Maryland has had 3 head coaches (plus an interim) since joining the Big 10: Edsall, DJ Durkin, and Mike Locksley. I wouldn't call any of them great coaches. Rutgers has had 3 coaches as well: Flood, Ash, and Schiano. Again, not good coaches. Schiano has not had a winning Big 10 record in...

Game Week 2025: UConn @ Syracuse Orange (Saturday 9/6/25 @Noon @JMA Wireless Dome). Game on ACC Network w/ Audio on Varsity Network & FOX Sports 97.9

I think they were building depth. It was good to start the year with an FCS school and the game was not competitive which allowed for a ton of players to get reps. UConn played 69 players which might be the highest number I have seen.
