Stat of the night for me is plus/minus Johnson +15 Mahaney +13 Imagine thinking that after Maui

He doesn't have to be a great guard. He just has to not be a negative on offense AND defense like Mahaney has been so far. Just that alone would be a huge improvement on how Mahaney has played so far.

We do have one on the roster, Ahmad Nowell. The bigger question is, is he ready to play big time minutes? I suspect we'll see him sooner rather than later, depending on his injury.

I really hope to see a different starting lineup tomorrow. It's clear the starters don't have great chemistry. It's also tough to start a game hot when Samson picks up a foul 19 seconds in.

MLB Groundskeeper here, I always try to throw balls to kids or a family. Someone 18-20 getting a ball and not giving it to a kid is a lot different than a 45-50 year old guy there alone, in my opinion.

This thread is awesome. Just got home from a 14 hour day at work and I'm instantly in a better mood.

Pretty surreal to see these guys again

Just moved to Boston at the end of February. As a UConn and Celtics fan, I've been spoiled in my few months here. Got to see our boys romp through TD Garden and now will be at Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Got a team USA signed basketball from a World Cup a few years ago. Gregg Popovich, Steve Kerr, and Jay Wright signed it, along with the rest of the roster.

I guarded Devin Carter 2 years ago when he was still at South Carolina. As much as one can expect a 5'9 person to guard Devin Carter.

Gotta get up at 4:30 Tuesday morning. Certainly not ideal, but worth it to see the boys win a title.
