I totally thought I was going to be alone with BG. Stupid elephant like memories around here.
I thought I'd be alone too, but only because I thought people would shy away from an "obvious" choice like BenGo.

As an interesting exercise, which foreign born players did we miss? Souleymane off the top comes to mind. As Subba said, Doron. Ryan Thompson was another.

is League pass worth it? I can't decide if I would watch more basketball. I live in nyc, so I probably would.

There are 2 options for LP.
1) get all games for $200 (I think )
2) choose 1 teams games $100

Me and my roommates mainly order league pass to watch the Charlotte Hornets. We live in Wilmington and the state is so large, the local broadcasting doesn't span the whole state, so we don't get the games... We do get option 1 because we do watch a lot of basketball and participate in a fantasy league together, but it really is a great option to have. You get broadcasts of either team for each game, and there's always basketball on to watch. I would say that if you long for more basketball than what's given on nightly cable TV, it's worth a shot for a year. You get to watch a lot of the less marquee games which can be nice too. (I watched a lot of Denver games early to get looks at Mudiay).

Bob Huggins (+10):

Henry Iba (+9):

John Wooden (+9):
KINGOPANCAKES

Lou Henson (+9):

Notes:
  • I did not specify which NCAA division in my question, and thus Jim Phelan (830 wins in D2) counts.
  • Bob Huggins does not qualify because 71 of his wins come from Walsh University, a school associated with the NAIA, not the NCAA.
  • Lou Henson was just one win behind tenth place Lute Olson.

Is the plan to string this along until first night?
It takes about 30-45 minutes for each post between compiling answers, formatting, etc. I'd love to have it done sooner, but it does take awhile, and the holiday weekend will be busy.

The current goal is to have it all completed by the Fourth of July. We can celebrate with fireworks.

Until then, the suspense remains.

I like your fair, impartial and decisive ruling.
Did anyone ever tell you what a great job you are doing running this?

Here, here - great job.
What was your/my final ruling on Vicente Ithier aka have you realized that Puerto Rico is not included in the picture below?
I'm hoping my amusing anecdote helped sway the jury.

Your story was indeed very amusing. But alas, I opted to side with the U.S. State Department in this matter.

I think Deng counts. He was on the official team roster. Just sat out the year. I thought about picking him or Justin Brown, but went with the middling role player instead of the obscure. In this case, I picked the wrong one (Jones over Mouring).
