Charlie Creme's #2 Seeds as of today are Stanford, Maryland, Oregon St and Miss St. Presume UConn meets the #2 seed for the right to go to the Final Four. Which #2 Seed would you like in UConn's Bracket.

Charlie has Stanford in the UConn Bracket. Not sure I would like to see a match up between Karlie and Katie-Lou at this time. Karlie may just have the advantage due to her experience.

I chose Miss St as they have less offensive weapons.

Voted for Miss. St. I'd take my chances with an SEC team - when was the last time we lost to one? Ten years ago?

I went with Stamford mainly because of the sibling rivalry.

And heaven knows I'm not trying to call up any bad mojo here, but if our streak is to come to an end during the FF, I'd rather we lose to the Cardinal then any of the other teams.

It's not a matter of "want" because if you are destined to win the championship you have to get past the regional. So really whoever get there is just in our way and it doesn't matter who.

But in regards to what game I'd like to see in which I think would garner high ratings on TV as well as a sell out at the arena @Mohegan would have to be Stanford. I think there are plenty of fans who want to see sister against sister. And it would be ESPN ratings heaven.

I'm with @Hongster....bring em on! Anybody! We ain't scared

Miss St because while they may be able to hang for a bit I think in the long run UConn plays too fast for them. After that I would say OSU (they play good defense), Maryland (they have good offense), then Stanford (they are rated last purely for mojo reasons).

Miss. St., because they can't score. Vivians may be the most overrated player in the country. I would rate the #2 seeds in this order Maryland, Stanford, Oregon State and Mississippi State. The only one that can put up a lot of points consistently is Maryland, and that makes them the most dangerous of the current #2 seeds.

If you want the easiest path, prob miss st. But if you want to generate a larger audience, Stanford should do, they stopped quiet a few of uconn's winning streak and then the sister rivalry, good drama!

Oregon State then Mississippi State.

My thoughts exactly -- I want the "new" powers, not the programs that have been there before.

Even though Oregon State went to the Final Four last year, they still are susceptible to the intimidation factor from never having played us. MSU is similar.

Maryland already played us tough, and Stanford has traditionally given us problems even when we've been the better team. I'd rather avoid them if possible.

Mississippi State. We won't beat them by 60 this time, but 30 seems realistic. Oregon State is my second choice.

Maryland can be dangerous. They have played us tough the past 2 times.

I don't like the thought of playing against Tara's team. Suppose that Karlie can take Lou totally out of her game. I think we are better and way more athletic, but Stanford has beaten us at least 4 times.

Isn't that Fairfield or a Uconn extention --StaMford!!
I was a bit conflicted over Miss or StaNford--Miss I believe Uconn has an easier test there. Stanford--Samuelsons and Payback for breaking up a good string of wins.
Frankly Mojo or NoJo---I have no desire to have any team, Stanford, ND, Tn, uSCarolina etc to be the one to
stop the streak---I opt to wait until next year and allow the second team UC WBB to end the streak..

Creme moved Maryland out of Bridgeport today and now has Stanford as the 2 for what its worth.

Does anyone have the head to head stats (RPI, Top 100 wins, SOS) of these 4 schools in the discussion?

I mean why would Stanford go east and not Oregon State ? And how does Mississippi State stack up to them both?

Tara always comes up with some junk defense that usually gives us fits (2010 title game) or they shoot out of theirs minds (our last loss in 2015).

I would most want Oregon State or Mississippi State.

I doubt it matters with the game being at home but i want uconn to pound stanford so i would choose them.

For the first time in some time, it does matter. This is the most vulnerable UConn team since 2012 despite the fact we are undefeated. Games against good teams earlier this year were real battles that almost went the other way. We have some flaws that can be exposed. As Geno has said, a lot needs to go right for this team.

I think the regionals are gonna be really tough this year for us. I am glad they are Bridgeport.

Could you imagine what the "junk talk" might sound like between them? I'm sure Karlie knows just the right words to say to her sister to knock her off her rhythm (and by judging the family's character and the way they were brought up from what I know from articles, etc. I couldn't imagine it being very trashy)

The question boils down to which team would UConn have the LEAST trouble with? That's why Miss. St. is leading the poll. Then there are those of us--including me--who would like to play Stanford. I have two reasons: one, the revenge factor (can't beat the Cardinal often enough or badly enough); two, love to see the super-competitive Samuelsons go at it. This is a trio of sisters who have been trying to throttle each other since childhood and beyond. Big sister Bonnie usually got the best of it; Karlie, the shy one and shortest one, is appropriately ferocious. Lou is the better shooter, Karlie the better defender. The sisters say that Karlie will be on Lou if they play, and Lou says she dreads having Karlie guard her because her older sister knows her so well. Tara chips in that Karlie has become more of an all-around player this year, not just a 3-pt specialist. We know how much Lou has grown into a more complete player. How could we NOT want to see this match-up w/in the match-up? Remember UConn Rule #4: Have Fun!:)

I picked Stanford. In watching them last night, their shooting was horrific. Karlie does not play anywhere near like Katie Lou. She handles the ball more like Kia Nurse and gets in two man games, pick and rolls, etc
Stanford has no dominant big person aka Briona Jones.
The family will have some heartache but they can travel to one location ( saving on travel) and then have shirts made Stanconn, or Connford.

OSU. They have been overachievers all season, but outside of Wiese they really struggle to score

I'd take all of them on but if I had to choose one it would be Mississippi State. Their point guard yesterday couldn't muster any sort of offensive rhythm and I think out of the four teams they are the least physical.
