Don't you think it was the Chair of the BOT giving his President a tug on the leash...sort of saying, "Hey...you report to us and I will not be a wallflower".
I see an ego clash between Boren and his BOT Chair. They are of a similar age and Boren has been putting himself up front in the CR discussions..

When someone writing that the GORs are enforceable even where you don't have to pay the departing school for their games actually tells me how that works under antitrust and other laws encouraging free competition, wake me up. He spent a huge amount of time stating the obvious and unimportant (which basically boiled down to a grant of rights is enforceable because it's a contract and contracts are generally enforceable). Yawn.
