I would take UCONN and the points. Our 2 minute offense is pretty good - so considering we will be in it all day we should score enough points to get within 29.
You know, I half expected Verducci to come out and run the 2 minute offense on the first series last Saturday. But nah, RRPP it was.

Which brings up another nuance. Much has been made of UConn being a second half team. Incorrect. They have a second half coaching staff. Whereas most competent coaching staffs can make the critical adjustments on the fly in real time, UConn's staff needs that 15 minutes at half time to digest what is happening. By then, of course the adjustments may have been anticipated by the opposition and the game has changed with a new set of problems.

I predict a win, just in case it happens and I can point to this thread. It's the equivalent of a taking a low cost, out of the money option on a black swan.

Haha Houston people are on twitter telling students "do not let your friends go home" after class and to go to the game. #CommuterSchoolProblems.

I wish UConn had Houston's football problems.

Strange combination of line moves at Bookmaker which is probably the second sharpest sportsbook.

Houston went to -30 and the total dropped to 49.5.

They've must have stumbled upon all the doom and gloom on the BY.

Somebody realized we can't score.

We won"t have much/any success running between the tackles as Herman will look to make us pass only. My hope is that BS doesn"t get killed between the OL under siege and his tuck and run 20+ times tonight. Think UH will cover. Hope I am wrong.

I do think we will play up to the competition and wind up covering. That said, I still see us falling behind early and never catching up. Maybe we will knock Ward out of the game--fairly--and force Postma to beat us. That would make it interesting.

Our two minute offense has been good against mediocre to bad teams trying to play "prevent defense" in the final minutes. Could that be why we score so many points trying to catch up in the closing minutes.

Judging from what we saw of UConn's prevent defense in the final minutes.......doesn't prevent too much offense from other teams.

Oklahoma had a tough time in the 4th and Cincinnati lost 28-0 in the fourth quarter. Seriously doubt we'll see a flurry of offense in the fourth.

I predict 56-10 Houston. We just don't have the athletes to compete in this one. It will be a good learning experience for the team. Hopefully we keep it close early.

Diaco did promise an exciting football team. Didn't really specify for whom though.

And we give up a sack, when starting at mid field. If we kick a field goal to end this game?

Punt again?

He wanted games to come down to the 4th quarter. Well, every single one has, so far, at least from the perspective of Las Vegas.
