It's Homecoming weekend...where was home on/around UConn campus for you?

I moved in to Belden my freshman year, just as it went co-ed. Loved it, lived there all for years.

Hicks 302 (94-95), Hicks 102 (95-96) (which also is my Avatar), Sprague 250 (97-98). East Campus all the way, baby. Having a corner room was great those three years in Hicks because it made splicing cable easier with upstairs and downstairs neighbors. Plus, having two windows was a bonus.

Donny Marshall lived in my Sprague room a few years previous. It was tiny as hell but I loved it. Jake Voskuhl lived across the hall and had his white Bronco parked in the back. Couldn't miss that thing.

Kingston 404 (Towers) look at the 4th floor first window you see coming into campus that's me. Then Hale 317 (Hilltop), then Hilltop Suites 402, then Hilltop Apartments.

03-07 then a year off campus in 08 behind the East Brook Mall.

Windham 2nd Floor, Brock 6th Floor, Carriage House 12A. The 80's were a great time.

I lived in 12A too in the 70's. We built a wall dividing the big bedroom into 2 smaller ones with separate entrances. To our surprise the management left it there. Was it still there in the 80's?

I was Sprague from 93 to 97, but I spent a fair amount of time back there in 98. I'm guessing I might know who you are if you PM'd me (and vice versa).

I loved Sprague. Yeah, it was an all male dorm, but we had the all female Holcomb next door where I met my wife. And Whitney Hall, the hotel in the middle where we ate, actually housed students for a couple of years when the campus ran out of rooms. Some of my favorite times were when the chicken farmers from Latin America would stay at Whitney for two weeks in the spring and we would have some great pickup soccer games on the grass in front of Manchester Hall.

Good times...

I transferred in junior year from Bradley University in Illinois. Fall 1982 in the Jungle (Middlesex). Spring 1983 in South Campus (Crandall), with no heat in the dorm - survived with electric blankets.

1983-84 (senior year) had an off campus apartment.

My niece graduated from UConn not too long ago. She roomed next to Breanna Stewart.
