For me there is only one and he is Raymond Douglas Davies. Not the greatest voice in rock but IMO the greatest singer/songwriter. And tragically underrated.

Those of you into Levon should check out Bow Thayer, with whom Levon occasionally records and plays. Dude is out of VT and plays great Americana music that you just don't hear in mainstream music anymore.

Never considered that but it makes perfect sense. My brother has a theory that he does it (or at least at one time, did it) for branding purposes. He wanted his beer to be recognized by as many as possible. But like you say, he'll never take the words off the can now.

Sierra Nevada does not put out a bad beer, every kind excellent in its own right. Noble Pils by Sam Adams is incredible, very much like Two Roads' "Factory". Some nice hops but very smooth.
