Week of May 26 Recruiting Updates
|Class of 2014:
Khadeen Carrington (SG): He listed offers from UConn, SMU, St. John’s, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Florida State, West Virginia, and some from smaller schools. Of those schools he mentioned UConn and Cincinnati are standing out to him.
Abdul Mailk-Abu (PF): He told Jason Jordan that UConn, NC State, Florida, and Providence are coming at him the hardest right now. Florida looks like they are taking one of him and Leron Black. We’re battling them hard for both.
Myles Turner (C): Early this weekend he said all of the Big 12, except for West Virginia, are recruiting him along with offers from UConn, Texas A&M, Marquette, UCLA, Miami, USC, Rice, Houston, and UNLV. However, in a few interviews later in the weekend he didn’t mention UConn at all so it is unclear of they are or aren’t actively recruiting him.
Jarred Terrell (SG): He listed offers from UConn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kansas, Kansas State, Providence, and Rutgers.
Kevon Looney (PF): On saturday he said UConn and UCLA were the latest schools to jump into his recruitment. Then on sunday it was reported he had now been offered by UConn. He also denied the rumors saying he is a strong Duke lean. Read more about him and the offer with the article I wrote about him.
Class of 2015:
Thomas Bryant (PF): Said UConn and Arizona are recruiting him the hardest right now.
Jalen Brunson (PG): He received an offer this past week from UConn.
