Third Live Period Report

Wednesday:
Kevin Ollie and Glenn Miller started off the third and final live watching 2015 PF Esa Ahmad at the AAU Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. He also watched a few other players that night but none of them are major targets.

Karl Hobbs started things off in Las Vegas watching 2015 C Chance Comanche and 2017 PF Ira Lee.

Thursday:
Ollie and Miller were once again in Louisville watching recruits. Some guys they watched throughout the day were 2015 SF Chris Clarke and 2015 SG Malik Beasley among others.

Hobbs was once again watching 2016 SF Vance Jackson, 2015 C Jean Marc Koumadje, 2015 C D’jery Baptiste, 2017 PG Trae Young, 2015 SF Bennie Boatwright, 2016 PF Abdul Ado, 2015 C Josh Sharma, and commit 2015 PG Jalen Adams among many, many more that have had UConn interest in the past or are receiving it now.

Friday:
Friday was the only day that coaches could be at the USA Basketball U-17 Tryouts and Ollie was there. Ollie had a few top targets from 2015 there in 2015 G Malik Newman and 2015 C Diamond Stone. For 2016 he had PG Derryck Thornton Jr and SG Tyus Battle along with a few others that have some interest from UConn.

However, coach Miller moved on to watch 2015 SF Derrick Jones again at the Battle of the Borders Tournament.

Moore joined Hobbs in Vegas and watched 2015 C Christ Koumadje as well as the other recruits listed above who were in Las Vegas.

Saturday and Sunday:
By now the entire staff was in Las Vegas watching various recruits throughout the two days. I believe Ollie left after Saturday while some assistants stayed for Sunday.
