Weekly Recruiting Update, 12/10

Class of 2014:
Daniel Hamilton (SG):
Coach Ollie watched him play on Saturday. Hamilton hit the game winning three as time expired. Per Eric Bossi. In an interview after the game he said that he is talking to Tyler Dorsey trying to get him to come to UConn to play with him. Per 247Sports.
Melvin Swift Jr. (PF): He cut his lost down to UConn, SMU, and UMASS. Per Adam Zagoria.

Class of 2015:
Tyler Dorsey (PG):
Ollie also watched him on Saturday. Per Eric Bossi. After the game he said that UConn, Duke, Arizona, UCLA, and Kentucky are after him the hardest right now. Out of them schools Arizona is after him a little harder than the rest. Per Rivals.
Bryant Crawford (PG): He said that he will probably visit UConn sometime soon. Per Rivals.
Donovan Mitchell (PG): Kevin Ollie watched him play on Sunday. Per Adam Finkelstein.
Jarred Reuter (PF): Coach Ollie watched him play on Sunday as well. Per Adam Finkelstein.
Jalen Adams (PG): Ollie also watched him play on Sunday. Per Adam Finkelstein. Jalen is looking to be the staff’s top point guard target right now. Ollie has seen him multiple times this season already.
Justin Simon (PG): UConn has been in steady contact with him lately but no offer has been given to him yet. Per Scout.
Derrick Jones (SF): UConn has recently offered and his dad said that they will definitely be visiting sometime this season. Per Adam Zagoria.
Stephen Zimmerman (C): Coach Ollie watched him play on Saturday. Per Eric Bossi. UConn could be making an attempt to get back in his recruitment.
Jonathan Jean (PG): He is currently on receiving interest from the staff. However, if the staff offers him and starts recruiting him hard he is likely UConn’s to lose. Per Rivals.
Malik Maitland (PG): UConn had started showing early levels of interest in him. Per D1 Circuit.
Nych Smith (PG): He has offers from UConn, Mississippi State, Memphis, UMASS, and Arkansas. Per Garrett Tucker.

Class of 2016:
V.J. King (SF):
UConn is one of the many schools currently showing high interest in him. Even with it being very early in the recruiting process his dad said that he could end his recruitment at anytime. Per Rivals.
Tyus Battle (SG): He plans on visiting sometime soon to see a game. Per Rivals. He has already visited campus once before.
