Bob Diaco on Playing Multiple Quarterbacks
UCONN head coach Bob Diaco made a comment about playing multiple quarterbacks during media day in Newport on Tuesday, but the setup and context may have been overlooked.
Coach D prefaced his comments regarding playing multiple quarterbacks with this:
“We’re not going to be a two platoon 1A/1B, I don’t believe in that. We will have a starting quarterback.”
Diaco also noted he would like to have a starter in place two weeks into camp, with two weeks to prepare for the opener against BYU.
