OT: Your favorite country folk songs

The topic sis Country FOLK songs, right?

Though monstrously over played on radio, and its mystery impaired by a stupid movie It ws one of the biggest crossovers and most covered songs of all time.

I have forvgiven this song for its grotesque popularity and recognize it as THE greatest country/blues/folk stories EVER

This one will be fun. I'll start off with this one. One of many Ian Tyson/Sylvia Fricker compositions that I will probably be adding. ;)

This one has been covered by a lot of different artists, but this version by Judy Collins is my favorite.

I like to try to post songs that many people wouldn't be aware of otherwise, but that still have an arrangement or story that grabs the listener. This is another Ian Tyson composition based on some actual events. This is a really energetic rendition of the song.
