Rockers actually come up with some really tender ballads. From Connecticut (by way of Croatia for the lead singer).

I first heard this love song (for Africa) over 25 years ago, and still go back to it for its beauty and power.

Denzel won his first Oscar for this film. And here’s an interesting (to me) fact. Denzel graduated from Fordham, my alma mater. And the character played by Matthew Broderick, COL Robert Gould Shaw, attended the lower form of Fordham, now Fordham Prep. (Also my alma mater.)
