The one that started it at all. Can’t argue with it, just something off about it for me. Think the lettering is too far down from the collar. I’m sure I’ll get crushed for saying it’s not one of my favorite designs, but to each their own :)

I suspect we will be making some sort of change signifying our return to the big east.

I still do not understand why throwbacks, or any official jerseys as of late, aren’t available online. The only jerseys that can be easily found are Chinese knock offs and used ones being resold. Frustrating as a collector.

UConn seems to be very unique in this issue. Maybe it a Nike thing. But I know for a fact from a discussion with a member of admin in men’s basketball that there will be throwback jerseys. The order took a long time to process so they weren’t available last year.

That’s great.

I remember as a kid walking into Bobs and there being an entire section of Uconn apparel. Multiple different colors and numbers of official jerseys. I’m not misremembering this am I?

Probably 3,8,9. 3 gets a bump up since it is #15, Kemba'a number. 8 is our emergence onto the national scene. I loved that Jersey at the time. It was such a big step for us. The fact that it is Ray-Ray's number is a plus. 9 is a decent retro jersey.
 
Firm believer that we should have UConn on the homes and Connecticut on the roads. Think we got away from that recently for branding purposes but it was a mistake.

Also, we NEED a 5,10 or 12 based alternate. I don’t care about 2006 those were absolute fire.
 
8, 4, and 9.

8 has to be in everyone’s Top 3.
 
I always prefer our jerseys and merch that say "Connecticut" to the ones that say UCONN.

But I have such a soft spot for No. 7 because our brand was "branded" in the national consciousness then and it just seemed to be such a strong, clean and unique look. When I look at all 12 jerseys in the OP, that one just jumps off the page for me. Obviously a lot of great memories associated with it, too.

5 and 10 are the exact same FYI...but my choices are 5, 6, 8. Number 7 just misses the cut, but thats because it has sentimental value since those were what we wore in 1999.

Wish someone more computer savvy than I would put together a contest about UConn number history. I go back to 1963-64 season and would put my memory against anybody. Without cheating of course. Quick, what number was Ron Hrubala?

It's weird - I'm almost Rainman like with numbers in my regular life but for some reason I've never know UConn players by numbers. If you asked me what number Oak or Kemba wore, I could not tell you. But I can tell you my best friends phone number from the mid 70s. Or my brothers' best friends number from the same time.
