Since when in the women's game is there a 1&1 over 10 years ago maybe? The grabbing ignored on Lou was obvious. There is a replay of the game where Aaliyah was scoring under the basket, shown on ESPN often in the background Lou is held openly. So the coaches besides Geno and Tara that came out pointing out the ignoring the holding, preventing freedom of movement, that is occurring are wrong?
The missed handoff out of bounds was a bad miss by the refs. Even if you got the ball and hit a three it would have been a loss.

So you never saw Uconn holding or restricting movement? 1 & 1 point is valid and my point should have been if many of your first 5 fouls are shooting fouls then that is 2 FTs vs none if you’re fouled on the floor for the first 5. Theoretically a team could shoot 10 if they were fouled while shooting and the other team get none due to being fouled on the floor. Not trying to argue, but the refs cost us the game scenario is a little extreme.

You speculating, hitting a 3 at that point ties the game up. Period. Anything after is a guess.
Take the time watch how UConn played defense against POY Clark or national scoring leader Seegrist. Nothing compared to what SC does. To repeat the 2 winningest coaches in WCBB have come out about the excessive holding/grabbing away from the ball that is not being called in the game and how it is hurting the game. Not just UConn.

It was a five point game when the hand off out of bounds occurred (75-70). Have you ever noticed the most successful coaches gripe about referees every game. I have never seen a game where Gino Dawn Mulkey etc weren’t constantly yelling at the refs. We can disagree cause our girls get hammered trying to shoot in close like its a rugby game by every team we play. They know the refs can’t call them all.

Hope we both get to the championship game
