Heard he’s going to St Johns.

No matter what happens, Yarin Hasson is a D1 men's basketball national champion. Not a lot of people in America can say that right now. Thank you, congratulations, and best of luck with your future Yarin!
From April 4, rough translation: "Mom, it was worth it. I'm coming back with a ring"
Only Israeli I can think of was on the women’s side - Shay Doron, who was the second-leading scorer on the 2005-06 Maryland championship team that beat Duke. Also, a second round draft pick, like another Doron.Has any Israeli ever won an NCAA basketball championship before? Anyone know?

so was newton so we are hoping senior night doesnt imply anythingI just thought he had already officially decided since he was honored on Senior Night.
Why not? They would open roster space.Actually, no.
So was NewtonOh, whoops. I wasn't trying to break rules or speculate on his future- I just thought he had already officially decided since he was honored on Senior Night.
Might get a chance for some PT on a mid major or more on a lower major. Wish him well.Considering what Yarin practiced against every day for a year, he could be a very good addition for someone.
He'll also have the nicest ring of any player on his new team.

I too hope so. It will likely depend on how he stacks up vs SingareYes!! Hoping Richie gets some well earned & deserved in game PT. He is a fan favorite.
And Tom IzzoDon’t let this distract you from the fact that Yarin has the same number of rings as Jim Boeheim.
Hence the holdup.Thank you interjecting facts here.
All the new people don’t know enough to tell dove to shut the hell up
And CalislimyAnd Tom Izzo
Does the coaching staff encourage some of these guys to transfer or outright tell them theres not enough room for them? Would seem like a real hard spot to be in breaking that news to a kid.
And Im sure guys like Hasson are 1 year deals as others have mentioned. But other than that, Hurley isn’t forcing guys off the team, think a clear example of that has been Richie springs the past few years.I think they're just honest about PT, and what it takes to earn more
I think kids believe they can win time when they sign, all of them. And when they realize they might not crack the rotation, they decide to move
That's a really solid list. Must have come with a solid recommendation from our coaching staff.
I would think as much as the player asks for. Most of the portal activity to date seems to be cordial. I see that list and all I can say is the brand looks strong right now.I was thinking about this yesterday. How much involvement does Hurley have when a player opts to transfer?
