Yeah I’ve heard this too, and while we like to kick them while they’re down now, I believe they have a pretty big endowment and some pretty rich alumni. If/when they get some serious NIL going, I can see them developing football/basketball. Knowing current Boston quite intimately, I know I would love to be a millionaire D1 athlete here; not only as a student, but after graduation/professionalismTalked to a friend who is a BC alumni (and Duke law school so he’s got that). He said there’s a new President coming in. The outgoing President just didn’t care about athletics at all. So maybe they will make some investments and change things. I do think it’s better for UConn if BC is at least competitive.
That's also what Dana Barros told me.Talked to a friend who is a BC alumni (and Duke law school so he’s got that). He said there’s a new President coming in. A couple years ago I sat next to Dana Barros at the Garden and we were talking BC and UConn basketball. He said that BC's president and administration don't put an emphasis on winning and that's why their athletic department is not doing well. But then you have hockey and women's lacrosse so why do...Do you really think it's the coaching?
O'Brien did an excellent job with PSU football in his few years there, and he was a pretty good HC with the Houston Texans.
It's something else. The school is not going to spend with the other schools. They're going to take in revenue instead.
Sticking with your umess storylineMy error, for some reason I thought Central beat UMass this year.
NOPE, Rutgers in addition to BC.My error, for some reason I thought Central beat UMass this year.
