Here is the clip. I think you'd have to be assuming a lot to think Hurley is inferring Reibe and his camp are complaining about playing time.

I did not infer what is being inferred by some. I’m with you.

He may just be reminding Reibe publicly how important that buy in was, I didn’t hear anything about family or him being upset.

Thanks for queuing that up. I hadn't listened to it. I don't think it's that big of reach to think he is sending a bit of a message there, but I agree it's an assumption.

I know that's been said before, but that's not really abnormal. There's more to talk about and more to argue about. Everyone saying "wow we're awesome" doesn't go very far.
It's like that in almost any forum for a particular team no matter the sport.

Nice game by everyone on the team. Not much to complain about in this game and nice to see the bench continuing to step up. The one thing that scares me is Smith. He just isn't too consistent as a backup PG. He had a good game against Providence and has followed that up with 2 stinkers. He really looks lost in the offense at times on where he should go with ball and how to get it to his teammates in good positions to do stuff. The offense really stagnates when he is in and Demary is out. Also, it was nice to see Hurley experimenting a lot in the 2nd half with different lineups when the game was a blow-out. Karaban needs as much rest as he can get.

.-.
It’s been a trend. I don’t get it. Seems like the students just aren’t that into UConn basketball like they used to be. I could make excuses about he cold weather or playing teams we are expected to beat but that wouldn’t have stopped them in the past. 22-1. 12-0. #3 in the country. Smh
Also noticed Hurley has stopped asking the crowd to get into it more.
I think he’s accepted that at least for now, the Kansas ,BYU Duke type crowd energy ain’t happening.
That's sad. I was at games in Gampel, Hartford, and Maui in 2023-2025 where he and Alex were asking the crowd to get into. Me and my wife would implore the fans around us to get into it more and some of them did and some didn't. I wish the fans were louder and more raucous like they were in the 90s and early 2000s or hell like in the Villanova game in 2022 when Hurley got kicked out of the game in the first half.

He was so dominate early I was starting to wonder at what point does he become our best player? Seems we are not quite there yet but it feels like it is coming. Not sure why he sat so much in the first half. Wish Hurley played him more.
Shhhh. Danny's keeping him a secret.
