Naked MonkeesWhat does Nm mean? Keep meaning to ask this
And he’s starting to work some crafty stuff with Karaban. Another money shooter along with Solo allows Alex to be more creative. And Mullins is turning into a little thief on defense. Bazz was an also great pick pocket as a freshman.Good comparison.
Left unguarded I have never seen a player more lethal - he is sharpshooter with the smoothness of MJ on that shot.
As he keeps learning how to get open you will see this high score totals go up and up. He is going to wake up Div 1 basketball with a “wow say what” performance this month.
There is stuff that worked for him in the league he came from that doesn’t work in the BE. Anytime the kid is on the floor, there will be at least two teammates that can hit from three. There is no need for an ill advised drive that will lead to a blocked shot.Rough game for Malachi.
Aside from health, consistency of the 2 deep pg play is my only real concern for this team.
And the Xavier dudes had extra incentive to not let a kid who played for Dayton get the best of them. Obviously, it was a different story for the rest of the UCONN roster.Considering the location of this game and where he played college ball prior to this season, I think there is a good chase was trying to do too much last night in front of that crowd.
Agreed. Loved that little pull up bank off the glass yesterday. His mid-range game is elite this year. Yeah, yeah, I don't want to hear it that that shot is not a good one. When you hit it at the clip he seems to be doing it's a weapon. Also opens things up for others.Anyone who cannot see the improvement in Solo's game has their eyes shut.
Coaching staff needs to tell him that after he crosses the 10 second line that he needs to pass the ball within 8 seconds or he’s coming out of the game.Rough 3 game stretch for Smith. We probably don’t “need” him to play better to win any games coming up, but we probably do need him to be productive come tournament season.
But Jonathan has 0 points and he’s the only one with a statue 😂If he was a little higher up on the points list I would say he’s firmly in the convo but he’s going to finish just outside top ten scoring most likely. But the two rings make up for that IMO, plus he will finish top 3 in threes made most likely.
He has a knack for circling behind an unwary opponent and knocking the ball loose. Crafty and quick as a fox.And Mullins is turning into a little thief on defense.
Does get called for a lot of silly reach ins because of it.He has a knack for circling behind an unwary opponent and knocking the ball loose. Crafty and quick as a fox.

Maybe the real points are the friends we made along the way.But Jonathan has 0 points and he’s the only one with a statue 😂
Agree. It's early. Cannot wait to see what this kid becomes.Jerry West was all-world defensive player too- Mullins has quick feet but he’s not there defensively- yet
It is if you didn't watch the gameIt's not a hot take, if.....
There is that uncanny similarity...The steal that lead to the fast break where he lobbed it to Solo reminded me of Jordan’s famous steal off Karl Malone.
Mullins listed as#10 on most recent NBA mock draftMullins is going to be a hell of a college player next year…

Seriously, kid looked so much more comfortable in the offensive sets. Felt like the game where it all clicked.
Coaching staff needs to tell him that after he crosses the 10 second line that he needs to pass the ball within 8 seconds or he’s coming out of the game.
And the other players out there need to cut and screen instead of being part of the problem standing around transfixed watching him pound the ball for 20 seconds.
Smith can be a really good backup point guard if he focuses on keeping the ball moving and looking for cutters.
He’s been playing one way for a long time. Tough to make that switch instantly. My guess is he get better each month. For a backup pg he is great.Smith is very sticky with the ball which goes back to his Dayton days as primary offense threat.
He is the reason why others stand around. I watched the early season games and often yelled at him on screen to pass to the cutters or curlers.
His MO is that keep dribbling ball until the defense reacts and leave one open and then he passes.
That reminds me, gotta slide my schedule out from under my laptop and fill in that "W". 😉
The Boneyard.... making fanatical, hasty judgements since the 90's.2 weeks ago Malachi Smith needed to start over Silas Demary Jr because he was the better PG, now he's going to be the reason for an early exit in March. The Boneyard sure does know how to take every opinion to the extreme
There is that uncanny similarity...
Lucky to have a backup that good. He’s not perfect but he’s perfect for this teams need. The Boneyard.... making fanatical, hasty judgements since the 90's.
