Under appreciated Hurley quality is his sense of humor. He always gives a quality one liner postgame, the Demary bit was hilarious.

Seconding the post game show compliments, easily the best part of playing on Peacock.

The first 8 minutes were everything we could have hoped for. To quote RutgersAl, "simply awesome." We were shot out of a cannon. At the 12.08 mark of the first half we hit 98% chance to win and it never dipped.

Yep, there is still stuff to clean up. Like the spot on the floor that is Xavier. Happy New Year.

Then Demary picked up his third foul. We told him not to but he did anyway.

Demary had a real nice game but oh when he does that it just frustrates me. He’s got quick hands and that strip move works pretty often but know your spots. We’ve had too many games where he sits with foul trouble after that exact foul.

karaban nailed it....that last 8 mintues we gave up 20 points once we went to malachi and reibe. I think we can stem that a little better if we can bring in ross off the bench, but can't be giving up runs like that.

Despite that, our defense still rose to #2 in the country.

I loved the one with AK where he was asked what he was doing later tonight.

He said FaceTime him mom, girlfriend and then watch Stranger Things finale.

Got to give it up to interviewer who did not miss a beat and said “yeah I’m watching 11 Vs Vectna too.”

Solo has been good all season. He has been great quite often. His three was a little off early but he maintained his production and has added a lot to his game.

Well let's be fair and make it 1-for-4 - he did have a pretty brilliant one against Butler when he got out of traffic after pulling down a rebound, and hit it ahead to Demary, who threw an alley-oop to Ross.

This roster is an absolute arsenal. Just a question for anyone else who was confused by what seemed to be a no reason whistle: see attached play-by-play screen shot. What the heck happened at 11:41? The play was live (UConn ball), the refs blew the whistle, no call was described, under 12 TV timeout occurred, game resumed with Xavier in possession. No turnover recorded in the play-by-play. What was that??

Watching Mullins in the open court is really exciting where he can create as well as shoot. Ice in the veins. Great future ahead for this kid.
Our staff knows how to pick the kids who fit in. Also feel better about the depth on the bench this year.

Every team except for a few are overmatched against us this season. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if those few look overmatched against us if we meet up in March.

Xavier is bad but they had no trouble with West Virginia and Cincinnati.
