We are awful in the last shot situation because our entire offense is running movement/sets for a jump shot. We have no one currently playing who can create their own shot.

Don’t matter Ross had an open look for a pull up but continued to drive. Has to get shot up for a chance.

I thought they would be deeper behind McNeeley at the wing spots, both Stewart and Ross can't give you nothing burgers at the wing. Amazing they still even had a chance to win this game with Karaban/Stewart/Ross being that bad.

Probably should’ve been blown out but kept fighting back. Maybe the worst Karaban performance of the year. Has Hurley drawn up a good end of game play this year? Somehow always develops into a Diarra panic play.

We will not beat Marquette or St Johns. Karaban and Ya’ll can defend him all you want was awful today. Got out played by Jerome Hunter. Hummel said that runner is Karabans shot. He missed his last 9-10 runners.

The only bright spot: Solo really carried this team for most of the game.

I'm curious why Danny did not use 2 bigs when we were down by 2, 72-74? does that not give us more rebounds and put backs?

Under 30% from 3 just not going to get it done in our current state. Was nice see both Samson and Mahaney come to play. Ball just a little bit off from having an absolutely massive game.

Awful game by Stewart but I’ll go out in a limb and say that he’ll be a productive player here. Can’t say that about Ross.

The second one was horrible.

Fix was on with 15-16 minutes left in second half when 4 calls in a row made against UCONN. Then a few more questionable ones in the last ten minutes including two awful calls against Mahaney.
We also don’t have the margin right now for Alex to be off all game and Solo off in the second half.
Players fought hard.
Samson was great all game. Solo phenomenal in first half. Mahaney very solid. Very good game from Diarra as well

We are an NIT caliber team without Liam. Hopefully he comes back and we win enough to make the tournament because it would be a real letdown to not even get in. Anyone who thinks this isn’t a real risk is kidding themselves. We have 6 losses and a three game stretch coming up where we may be underdogs in all three. 10 or 11 losses likely. Does that get us in?

Terrible last time out, Aidan had turned the corner and was scoring on drives all night. Time out, draw up some action the refs let get blown up as usual, Ross left trying to make a play.

Going into this year people raved about depth. We’re actually not deep at all. Zero consistency from the bench.

Maybe Hurley was on to something with Stew having a short leash with a healthy team. That Villanova game seems so long ago now.
