His first half was not excellent. Letting Jackson put us in a 9-point deficit was not a good look for either of them. After that first 5 minutes, I don't have many complaints.

Should've gone to a zone earlier or played Clingan for shotblocking when they were walking to the rim for and-1s.

That is our captain! His goal tending at the end also screwed us.

We should at least beat the teams we’re suppose to beat moving forward if we continue to play like this.

I love your enthusiasm, but it’s tough to swallow going from a #2 ranking and final four thoughts to cheering for moral victories and warning the BE to watch out for the six seed

That first half was one of their worst, I almost just shut the damn thing off. Play in the 2nd was good excepting Boum coverage for the first 10m letting him hit 5/5 from 3. Frustrating barely covers it.

Upside was seeing Newton drive repeatedly along with Hawkins. Loved that AJ dunk. I saw Sanogo pass - I think it was twice!

Hawkins is a freaking stud, love the way Newton played. Our issue is Sanogo has been an absolute non factor on either end in conference play. The AJax first 5 minutes cooked us. Great response, terrible start.

Great game Newton. Great second half Hawkins. Good adjustments in the second half to make a comeback and give us a chance

Unfortunately we spotted them a 9-0 lead after 4 minutes and could never fully recover. Maybe the worst first half of the season and we couldn’t dig out of the hole we put ourselves into.

4-0 the next two weeks is a must if we want to be near the top of the conference. Next week should be easy. The week after should be hard. Right now we’re tier 3 in the conference, pushing tier 4. Need to turn it around

Maybe get 20 reg season wins...overrated and rightfully so bc early wins vs early ranked teams, from fanbase that has been hoping to get back to the land, Reality not great former teams that these guys are compared to would beat by whatever they want. Right path I hope but get to tourney not going anymore than 2nd round. No one on this team is going to NBA , I mean maybe Hawkins but softest team Ive seen in a long time.

No I have been saying this for years now. Everyone always hides behind the roster, and my point is good coaches can change that quickly a la Miller.

Too large a deficit to overcome! Awful start, gritty comeback that falls short. The return of the dreaded 1-3-1? Was hoping that was retired. This could be a bubble team given how we can’t beat the top BE teams / even at HOME. So much for stacking wins. Now we have to worry about another losing streak.

We need to beat Providence and Marquette at home...or we go home.

On the plus side, I think Hurley might have figured out how to use Jackson when teams sag off him that much. It took 1.5 games against X. Hopefully, he doesn't revert to something stupid.

Hopefully Jackson is banned from shooting 3s the rest of season. If you can’t make 33 % from 3, you shouldn’t be shooting them.
