WR Skyler Bell is the first Associated Press First Team All-American in program history

This should solidify him with the best season for a player in program history, right?
Donald Brown rushing for 2083 yards and 18 TD in 2008 is better IMHO. Bell had a phenomenal year but Brown also was playing against good competition and absolutely steamrolling teams.

And Donald Brown actually played out the season and dominated the bowl game.

-> Bell was named to the first team of three of the five NCAA-recognized All-America lists to meet the requirements. He garnered first team recognition by the Associated Press (AP), the AFCA and The Sporting News while also earning second team honors by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. <-

Great to hear he is playing and that ought to make Husky fans happy.

Hats off to Skyler. He has the most to lose playing in Fenway but he understands the now old fashioned concepts of teamwork, brotherhood, finishing what you start and standing on the shoulders of giants. He is a Giant and UConn legend.
