She's been pretty quiet for this playoff series, but had a nice game today. That's such a characteristically Kiah Stokes way to put an exclamation point on a game. :D

edit: Great game for Tina, too.

.-.
Unfortunately, I have not had access to view WNBA games (but happen to be home in San Diego on leave this week) but I am very impressed by how confident and effective Kiah is at finishing inside...big improvement!

Laimbeer over Thibault... yasssssssss

but I miss Big Shot Bria

Stokes with some nice lay-ups off the dishes

and they play tomorrow GEESH

Kiah is so good. She affects so many shots on defense and was in when they made their big run in the 1st half. Sugar Rogers can SCORE.

The lineup of Tina, Kiah, Sugar, Piph, and Tanisha Wright is pretty good.

They really needed Kiah to step up with Swords not available. She made the big
defensive play with .05 on the clock. Now they have a tough series with the
Fever, who are playing great.

.-.
I don't get this scheduling, that the Liberty must play with one day rest, while Indy gets 2.

As great a game Kiah had, her teammates need to give her better passes. She does not have
the greatest ability to adjust her body as well as most in that regard to snare the errant toss to her.

no rest... for the Liberty

They play tomorrow because the Pope is at MSG Thursday

I rather have them push it out further but... whatever works for all involved

At least Silver was in the house tonight. Great game, great crowd. Tough turnaround... but business is business.

Blame it on the Pope...at least they are in MSG and not some D3 college

Gutsy move by Laimbeer to put Kiah on Ivory! But it sure paid off! Kiah made some big put backs, but guards kept passing to her knees, they have to get it UP to a big girl!

Espn Article on Kiah after today's win.

http://espn.go.com/wnba/story/_/id/...ad-new-york-liberty-eastern-conference-finals

According to this, Kiah is now 6ft 5in tall.
A winning habit does that to you.
Somewhere - I think it was in one of the media day pieces, I noticed a reference to Butler 'matching Kiah's height on the risers at the white house visit - I thought it was strange, but maybe as the 'legend of Kiah' grows, so does her height?! The visual on that day as we noted made Kiah look about a foot shorter than Butler!:)

So now we have a 7' 3" center. Holy Cow!

After being challenged in the comment section that Kiah is not 6'5", Howard Megdal (author of the article) insist that she is 6'5"...
She is getting into everybody's heads!!! No stopping her now.
