Couldn’t make FTs, couldn’t make layups, couldn’t find open guys playing hero ball, couldn’t make threes, couldn’t set screens, we couldn’t do ANYTHING on offense. Bouknight played 1 on 1 selfish hero ball all night. Only guy who knew how to actually drive the ball was Gaffney. Sickening seeing how every other team seemed prepared offensively for the tournament and we look like this.

Extension of the coach. He has no idea how to plan an offensive scheme.

The sad part is that had Maryland not shot 200% from three non of that would have even mattered.

Martin and Cole a combined 4/22.... just amazing
But they blaming Hurley. He ran set plays but our guys couldn’t get free. Bouk shot bad. Hasn’t hit threes good since first Creighton game. It’s really Martin and Cole who we needed to step up and didn’t. Bouk was going against a top defender and they were ganging up on him on drives.

This what we’re looking forward to returning next year? We need Gaffney to have a big summer clearly.
Clearly both are much better than that but Martin especially needs to figure out whatever mental block he’s got on these layups. The amount of easy shots from within three feet he misses is an absolute dagger.

There’s a big difference between running an offense and having a plan on offense.

Thank you coach for bringing us from the depths of nowhere to get us back to the tournament so soon. Also looking forward to the next few years cuz it’s gonna be fun
Thats on the talent we have alone. We just struggled to score 54 points after struggling to score 56 points. Hurley has his massive strengths, but offense is certainly not one of them.

There'll be plenty of negatives to talk about so let me talk about the positives. . .

The last 6 minutes of the half was the difference. We needed to cut it to 5 points and the biggest mistake was keeping Sanogo on the bench with 2 fouls. What happened? They extended the lead to 11 and Sanogo only played 18 minutes and finished with 2 fouls.

Agree he’s not an offensive coach. Defensive minded for sure. In the three games before the last two they scored 94, 98 and 69. They are an efficient offense (not tonight) that is ranked in the top KenPom 25. Hurley will get better and the overall roster will too. Would not trade Hurley for the other Spartacus out there. Can’t wait for next season already.

If you don’t like the product just stop watching.

If you think we are worse off then a year ago and can’t appreciate the season for what it was that is on you.

If you need to scream and yell as loud as you can because you lost money on the game well then...

I don't understand why he benched Sanogo, he gives us inside presence on both sides of the ball. He needed to play 30 minutes at least.
