World War Z | The Boneyard

World War Z

As a big Walking Dead fan looked forward to it....was very disappointed...

Thanks for the heads up guys...........wasn't sure on that one as I was looking through the "On Demand" selection!

Saw it the other day. meh. Wasn't "horrible", but not really very good either. Maybe save it for some day when it comes on the free channels.

I wouldn't say unwatchable, but as a zombie and general apocalyptic movie fan, I wasn't particularly impressed. I think the very good reviews it got were relative to the expectations which were VERY low.

I thought the first 30 minutes were great, and then it sucked. LMAO at flying all over the world in a C-130.

Did like that Muse did the soundtrack, I thought the music was decent.

.-.
It was better than I expected. The zombies were over-the-top I feel, and when the plane crashed within walking distance of the research center...uh...riiiight.

Overall, entertaining, tho. On a bored night.

It had some cool scenes ...like when they get over the walls.....

I was maybe expecting too much...

My wife is a zombie nut and liked it. So it has that going for it. Still, the "new" Dawn of the Dead (2004) was awesome.

Whenever a film has that much trouble making it to the screen (re-writes of the script before filming, re-writes of the script after filming, filming of new sections, multiple delays in its release, re-editing), it's rarely a good product.

Started strong, became incredibly banal towards the end, absurd conclusion, but great visuals.
