Guess I should start using more common vowels on 1st line, eh? This game is getting in my head now. I actually played the 4th line conservatively as everything in my Wordle-conspirator head said, "crick". Wouldn't have busted, but 5 is better than 6.

I almost made a different 2nd guess, then realized I could use OPINE and knock off two vowels (I had E). I tend to think every first word should probably have an E. Letter Frequencies in the English Language

My wife's streak finally ended at 149, I believe it was PARER that got her.. That one was brutal.

My streak also ended at 149 like 3 weeks ago, so I felt extra good that it's a stalemate

To map again or lay out in a new pattern. But it shouldn't have popped in my head before RECAP. They are similar words really, as recap is just recapitulate.

I should have said I was surprised it was a Wordle word. I understand what it means but don’t think I’ve seen it used before, whereas RECAP is pretty common in my experience.

Seems I was the only one who didn't get the first letter. I had all the rest. Thought TAINT was a smart guess as (a) it might be right and (b) it would tell me where the T goes one way or the other.
