Yes, I think so. Adding W and eliminating R and S was huge. There were some non WH choices, but I went with the most likely (plus my 2 vowel rule).Seems the start word helped big time today
It's a helluva guess, but I'm not sure I follow the strategy. If your goal was to remove the most common letters left (LNTR) there were several options that wouldn't use riskier P or C (also keep in mind D and G are 2 pt Scrabble tiles while P and C are 3 pointers). Hell, "later" clears 3 of them. "Navel" clears 2. You chose to clear one.Talk about your bad start words. And yet, no S or M meant I needed an A - E word that cleared a useful letter like L. I was fairly sure PLANE had been used. It felt like most R and T words would be AI, so if A hit that was next.
