I know there are a few oldtimers here who appreciate Sandy Denny who was best known as the lead singer of Fairport Convention. She also wrote Who Knows Where the Time Goes which has been covered by many including Judy Collins, Eva Cassiidy, Nina Simone,etc. She died way too young at age 31.
