Women in Music

I don't listen to much current mainstream country, but I can make an exception for her.

But then I have to post something by the other Kasey.

This isn't her normal band (well she married her drummer, so he usually goes where she goes). She did a lot of streaming concerts during covid and had to cobble other performers together for some of the shows.

.-.
She's a Seattleite. She used to do local shows all the time, then fell off the map.

The ice was already broken with Britney. Now I won't feel bad about going full on sugary pop. Her songs are kinda cheesy, but so catchy, I really like quite a few of them. And her videos are usually pretty funny.

Long before Elon Musk and a baby with an unpronounceable name, she was just an oddball indie electropop singer from Canada.

Joan Armatrading - can't overlook her anymore...!

This one is the beautiful 'Willow":

Going to put up one more by the Warning. They were middle-school age when they covered the Foo Fighters 'Everlong' in 2015.
They all nailed their parts, but watch the drummer.

Brandi Carlile covering Radiohead (some strong language in this song, true to Radiohead's original):

Okay, gotta have some Hope Sandoval in this thread.
