As a reminder, Megan led her team to 3 straight Virginia championships. Her senior year, the team was undefeated and one of the top teams in the nation. Compare that, for example, with Sam Brunelle’s team losing in the quarterfinals in her junior year. This is not a knock on Sam, just a recognition that Megatron was a major winner.

This was my favorite paragraph:

"Despite the fact that practices are so difficult, Williams looks forward to each and every practice because of the invaluable lessons head coach Geno Auriemma, the assistant coaches and teammates teach her."

I haven't been on the Williams bandwagon, but I think I have to join when she says she looks forward to the brutal practices because she's absorbing so much. That's a great attitude.

Either that or she has a very subtle sense of humor. ;)
