Regarding rookies, Paige certainly doing great. Have to give credit also to some of the others like Kiki Iriafen, Aneesah Morrow, and how about Sonia Citron's 27 points and stellar defense mostly on Paige in the Mystic's OT win against the Wings yesterday?

I appreciate Citron's defense on Paige, but I think the real thing that made it difficult for Paige was Washington's execution of their team's defensive plan. They effectively stepped up with double and triple teams whenever Paige got around Citron (combined with the occasional blitzes), and, since no one on the Wings helped out with making themselves available in any vacated spots, Paige was frequently left with the alternatives of taking a difficult shot or just tossing the ball back out for a reset (usually resulting in someone else driving into traffic and either missing a shot or losing the ball).
Citron made things difficult, but Paige was able to usually get by her.
Now, on the other side of the ball, Citron's shooting was magnificent, but she frequently (to her credit) was able to capitalize on being left alone with no defender within shouting distance and (to her credit) constantly made the Wings pay. In addition to her open jump shots, though, she did make one beautiful move on Paige (in the 2nd half, I think) and sank the shot.
So, IMO, Citron played a wonderful 2-way game, but was certainly helped out by Washington's defensive plan and Dallas' lack of any defensive execution.
