Many years ago, she was interested in elementary school teaching. Wonder if that's still the case. Or if something else has caught her eye.
In any case, best of luck to her. She entered as a flash during the U-16 World Cup and now leaves just as quickly!

What this really gets down to is Las Vegas spent so much money on so few players, they're going all Filene's -- err, creative -- in finding gems from different places. Buyer beware with Carter, regardless of how strong those vets are. She's a scorpion and, well, you know what happened there.... 😏
 
I was able to watch Olivia Miles press conference (YouTube if you are interested) on the local Minneapolis news today. Not gonna lie, I love the drafting of Miles. At first I was like, "We could have had Betts here in Minnesota. We picked a guard!?" History as a Timberwolves fans when we picked three guards, back to back to back when we acted like we never heard of a guard from Davidson named Steph Curry. SMH

However I thought about it more and then I saw the press conference with Miles and I am sold on Olivia. I mean I already know what she can do on the court. She is a walking triple double player. She has great court vision with a great basketball IQ. She is going to fit in well here in Minneapolis and I am glad that we drafted her. Welcome, Olivia!!

She is looking for a title, and so far in her career she hasn't been very healthy .
If she can put together a couple of great years healthy, the world is hers.
She and Sabrina would in a couple of years with winning titles be the faces of the Liberty.

She’s looking to be credited as the one who brought a title.

If she was looking for a title, she’d offer the same discount to LV and enter the season as a bigger favorite than last year’s All Star break Lynx.
 


Oooooh. This looks awesome. And if my memory is correct, this is a facility Canada Basketball will have access to when needed. This also helps rejuvenate a section of the downtown core for the city.

watched the video and it appears Dorka's foot slipped out on perhaps a wet floor. It happens with 2.10 left in 2nd qtr after a teammates missed FT
