Some news from the Dallas Wings today.
Some news from the Dallas Wings today.
So do I.Per the Arike news, here's Richard Cohen's take on this:
I’ve been suggesting ... that the Wings move on from Arike Ogunbowale. But part of that scenario, ideally, is getting value for Arike in a trade - as long as there’s still value to be had. So I think they’ll probably core her, whether because they still think they can make it work with both Bueckers and Ogunbowale, or because they think they can get something for Arike in a deal. Of course, that always runs the risk that the player will just sign the core qualifying offer and you have to make room for their supermax on your cap sheet, or that they’ll only agree to go to certain destinations and therefore a trade becomes difficult."
So, let's keep track on what GM Curt Miller has in mind for Arike, Paige and the Wings.
BTW, I do like the offers to both Li Yueru and Grace Berger.
Same.So do I.
Just to add, I thought that Berger played well when she got to Dallas, with the exception of her shooting which was really poor (though, perhaps an anomaly).Same.
I dont know how long she is out, but not being able to fly isnt good.
I once sprained an ankle just before taking a flight from Beijing to JFK. The normal swelling went way beyond that due to the air pressure. This was years ago, but I still thank the staff of that plane for propping up that ankle, keeping ice on it and a steady stream of Tylenol.Geez, no idea the extent of the problem, but I hope KMac recovers quickly and fully.
I’m sure many of us have had some ear discomfort on a plane. I can’t imagine the pain of something so bad the eardrum was damaged, and on a transatlantic flight.
This is surprising to me. I thought that she, AT, and Copper were a good trio.
Toronto with Nyara could make a lot of sense, especially since they're international anyway and Toronto would have the cap space to give a max offer.Agree. Costabile is pretty reliable so I wonder why (not) and where (she has in mind).
Nneka Ogwumike, took a free agent visit in Minnesota. Also rumored CO- defensive player of the year. Alanna Smith may be moving on from Minnesota.
It's kind of the Four Seasons Total Landscaping of the WNBA free agency. Fake news! One of the funnier things I'm seeing on social media today. That balloon company is getting some unexpected attention today. 🤣
She now looks like a totally different player than she did at Stanford. Not only is she in better shape, but she's clearly in much better mental shape too. I still have a few questions about her ceiling without more consistent outside shooting, but she had some really nice high low passes inside from the key, which suggests she can also be a distributor from outside.I think Dallas is taking Fudd and has been fairly transparent about it but Betts fills a bigger need (literally) IMO. I’m not as doubtful about her ability to perform in the league early. Seeing her at the Final Four, she looked more agile and mobile than I expected.
I was pleasantly surprised by Lauren Betts' performance in the Final Four on the defensive end. She was able to defend in space, not just roaming the paint.I think Dallas is taking Fudd and has been fairly transparent about it but Betts fills a bigger need (literally) IMO. She also looked fairly comfortable taking midrange jumpers and I believe she had a fadeaway early in one of the games too.She now looks like a totally different player than she did at Stanford. Just as a PSA: if you have VERY stuffed up ears... DO NOT get on a plane. I did this in college once, and bled in my ears, with agonizing pain. It felt like someone was inserting icepicks into my ears on the descent. I was temporarily deaf. It took me three months to recover, and I'm suspicious that I have difficulty with some frequencies of sound as a result.Geez, no idea the extent of the problem, but I hope KMac recovers quickly and fully.

With three rounds the answer is yes.Do you guys think Serah Williams will get drafted?
