I mulled over Bolognese or penne alla vodka this evening. We figured with a rib roast tomorrow, vodka sauce was better tonight.

We’re doing filet mignon, twice baked potatoes and spinach sautéed with garlic and oil.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all, from sunny Las Vegas where it's currently 53 degrees and supposed to get up to 62. I will be cooking our traditional rib roast with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce and rolls. With a Cabernet Sauvignon and ice water on the side. For desert a homemade apple pie with whipped cream and German coffee. We do have some snow up on Mt Charleston so there is a white Christmas.
