I’m glad not to have to shovel, but I also kinda miss the snow. The local ski basis has some, mostly groomed, snow. But that’s at 10,000 ft.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all, from sunny Las Vegas where it's currently 53 degrees and supposed to get up to 62. I will be cooking our traditional rib roast with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce and rolls. With a Cabernet Sauvignon and ice water on the side. For desert a homemade apple pie with whipped cream and German coffee. We do have some snow up on Mt Charleston so there is a white Christmas.
