If the ACC can at least keep UVA, Duke, NC, Wake Forest and some of the former Big East schools, UConn would fit it in nicely there. I think it will happen sooner than later.
Oh no I've been around since the major realignment times. I know "The Dude". Didn't know he was still around. I left the board after the faux Big 12 expansion a few years back. You must be a newbie to realignment if you don’t know about West Virginia “dude”
Or vice-versa. Or they merge. Pac 12 - Big 12 - ACC. It's gonna be interesting. Not sure why PAC wouldn’t raid the B12 as next step.
The metro LA demographic is important to TV advertisers. Given that much of Connecticut is in the metro NYC demographic, we make a strong case for ACC membership and even the B10.Or vice-versa. Or they merge. Pac 12 - Big 12 - ACC. It's gonna be interesting.
But 2 programs from LA?
Stanford, sheeeeet.......If USC and UCLA leave, I am pretty sure Oregon and Washington are pushing hard in the background to join as well. PAC-12 better move their asses quickly to raid the B12 to shore up the ranks.
What will happen to Cal and Stanford? I can't even picture schools like Stanford in a league with a school like Baylor or Oklahoma State.
ND's commitment to join the ACC if they join a conference is looking dumber and dumber by the second.Meanwhile, in South Bend...

I have said all along companies like IBM and GE were just as big and part of American culture. They made poor choices and fell behind after years of living off their nameND's commitment to join the ACC if they join a conference is looking dumber and dumber by the second.

Gotta think that they just assumed they had a spot in the B1G whenever they wanted it. Finally the B1G was tired of the waiting and saw the ACC move and said ok, we're done here.ND's commitment to join the ACC if they join a conference is looking dumber and dumber by the second.

I'd actually think that the Pac 12 is going to take more of the Big12 schools, assuming USC and UCLA are the only ones leaving the Pac12If USC and UCLA leave the biggest winner has to be the Big 12 picking up Arizona, ASU, Stamford and Cal.
