We're often on the cusp HS All Americans. When we're slighted, we have a bigger chip on our shoulder. I'm ok with it, but it's nice to be honored for your play, not just who you sign with. McD's is now about who you sign with lately. Memba Marshall Plumlee???

We have had 10 McDonalds all Americans since 1977 11 if you count Purvis source, http://statsheet.com/mcb/teams/connecticut/recruiting#mcdonalds

Players like Walker, Oriakhi, Villanueva, Gay, El-Amin, Marshall, and Rip have been pretty fundamental in this programs 4 titles.

You have one on the current roster and Jalen would have absolutely been a burger boy had he been eligible. He's not as a 5th year player. I don't think i start beating myself up over it for another few years.
