With all the height in European and Australian women's basketball, surprised we have no new rumors (real or not) about other options Geno and Assistants are pursuing.

I hate to always be the one dragging things back on topic, but she played again today:
Koszykówka - Basket Liga Kobiet

A pretty solid game as they got back to winning ways.

Mercifully you've brought this thread back on topic. Thank you.

I was able to watch some of the game on line and Makurat played well. She didn't just rely on shooting 3s. She was able to get a couple of buckets in the lane.

I will agree that they could be from the dark side of the moon and I’d take a player if She could ball.

But I am Polish so I do have some bias here.
I always knew that Q is a Polish name. ;)

When does her season end ?
Carl's article from about a month go said "But because of the schedule of her team in Poland — Arka Gydnia — she (Anna) would likely not be able to visit until after the end of the spring signing period on May 15." So I guessing the season last at least mid May.

The "end of the signing period" is very much an artificial deadline. The real deadline is that the athlete must be enrolled by the first day of classes for the fall semester. I know this from personal experience because my daughter signed in July. Sabrina Ionescu showed up at Oregon I believe the week that classes started which was late August.

The same situation applied to Anriel Howard who was not eligible to enroll as a Grad Transfer at MS St until she completed her summer school classes and officially graduated from TX A&M.

Tennessee adds Australian sharp shooter for 2019 class. Lou Brown will also be eligible next year. Also heading they have a 2020 commit from Australia as well that might be announced soon.

FYI, there is now a sub-forum for all discussions involving teams other than UConn. It's titled: General Women's Basketball and the link appears right above this forum. That forum is the place to post about Tennessee recruiting.
