I am going to be optimistic about our chances to keep up. When something becomes monetized and needs to sell the product one thing is critical and it is brand recognition.
Because of that and the fact that I see CBB both men’s and women’s the second and third largest revenue generators for this new business of college athletics then I believe a school like UConn with our brand recognition in the hoops arena, having us part of the landscape makes good business sense.
It does not make sense to eliminate the few schools that have that brand recognition because it is not what is best for the business.
It will be stressful for us until we find a final home but I believe we will for the reason I mention. Our brand is iconic and it makes no sense to eliminate that from the business equation.
