Will Hurley counter Patrick?

Not necessary, but I'm not saying I don't want to see them used together in certain circumstances. One thing I've noticed is how often AJ swoops in and cleans up the boards when Sanogo or Clingan are occupied defensively. If the lane gets too congested, that won't happen.

I think Sanogo and Clingan should play together to neutralize Wahab and Akok.

Who is with me?
What a silly idea! Why would you want to show the Purdue scouts at the game those guys together? JK-LOL

It’s a crime we don’t see them on floor together
You don't think Hurley's current strategy that has won us every single game we played by 10 points or more has worked? Having Clingan give Sanogo or blow/come in when he is in foul trouble gives opposing big men nightmares. No need for the 2 to be on the court at the same time

But for real, hurley is a fool if he doesn't at least consider this

Guys, we've seen this for 2+ years. Akok does not have a role on offense. He's maybe a spot-up shooter or rim-runner. He's not going to post up or break someone down off the dribble. Karaban can handle him.

I can see that happening when the opportunity presents itself. Yes, that would be quite fun to watch if the opponent wants to go giant.

If you stacked Joey C. on top, Adamovan would have the outside shooting that is really desirable at the next level right now.
You guys are crazy, Clingan should be on Sanogo‘s shoulders. Makes the combination much more mobile and Sanogo would be able to carry both Clingan and Joey C and still cover the the hard hedge!

The logic here is that with Clingan as the base, he can still easily score on layups. It would be harder for Sanogo to score on his own if he were the base.
Clingan is a big dude, but I’m not sure his legs all that very long with Adama sitting on his shoulders.

Maybe put Joey C on Clingan’s shoulders to give Donavan three point range. Really, the possibilities are endless.
