Why was Marquette game closer than expected?

Start Blanca, bring Williams in with K9
Sounds good & looks good on paper but Blanca is only 6'2 and at times can be a foul magnet ( as is Serah & Jana). This team is gonna need height and strength in the post position whn they meet up with the Gamecocks and the Bruins. If you switch Serah and Janna I can see ur point, Blanca is the spark off the bench this year and being tht the team hasn't been outscored in the 1st quarter this year im think tht Geno is content with tht. Yes Sarah can play center but you don't want her picking up 2 or 3 quick fouls banging against a bulldozer of a center.

Below are the KK + Serah duo rotations. Their Per 40 +/- is 40.41.
  • The Per 40 +/- for the Team is 38.78 (1,047 x 40 min / 18 hours). (HerHoopStats’s NetPts is 38.80).
  • The KK + Serah duo is instrumental to UConn’s keys to winning;
  • Other metrics confirm Serah’s importance to the team.

As with LY, Geno and CD do not start with small ball. It will wear Sarah out in a long season.
  • Current rotations preserve Sarah’s efficacy (see below).

I agree but To be honest...the KK+( insert any player) duo is instrumental to UConns keys to winning, she's tht important. The team has fluidity whn she's on the court whether she's scoring or not, just like Ashlynn. The sky's not falling everything's ok, we as fans are just sooo spoiled, a 15-20 pt win against a good well coached team on a off night takes guts and perseverance just like in the Michigan game. Relax...🫣The bad guys in the mirror are not as close as they seem.
