It didn't affect the outcome, and he was nearly blowing a gasket arguing against the last hoop being allowed. (I thought Waiters made it in time, personally, but it didn't really matter ....)

Do you think Calhoun had a bet on the game ? Just didn't make any sense.

He was arguing how the ball went off Syracuse on the first inbounds attempt and arguing for the 5 second call that should have been called on the 2nd inbounds.

well, uconn covered, so I don't think he had a bet on the game..........

Would like to see the replay on that OOB call, looked like our ball.

you are smarter than that - it was very, very close to a 5 second count (have to look at the replay) on the inbounds play in a one possession game. But you knew that and wanted to get a rise by suggesting something else right?

Thanks for your interest in UConn basketball ... 3-time and current defending National Champions.

No, it was an honest question. I didn't think he was complaining about the inbounds; I thought it was about the last basket not counting. It had originally been put on the board until he went after the ref. My bad. Didn't realize he was still complaining about the inbound.

Granted, I spend way too much time on this board, but to imagine making an account on another team's board just to write silly agitating posts--now that is really having no life.

I've been on your board since you had a board. Fishy and I used to go to the ABCD Camp together to scout players, like 10 years ago.

Not sure if there is a guy in college basketball that I dislike more than Waiters. A me first guy who flexes after every hoop regardless of how his team is playing. I am not a gambler, but if I were, I'd bet someone picks Syracuse in the 2nd weekend.

The whole play was somewhat bush league anyways...the class thing to do would have been to dribble out the clock not to go to the rim and dunk.

I'm pretty sure JC was arguing that it should have been a 5 second count (I thought he was mimicking the ref doing the count). The line was 7 so the spread wasn't in play.

Not a big deal, IMO. Not like it was a 10-point game where it was decided already and it was just salt in the wound. The successful leak out clinched the win, so it was an in-the-moment celebratory sort of dunk. Can't expect college athletes to be robots.

Aren't you the same guy who came on here and asked how Rakeem Christmas' commitment affected the recruitment of Drummond?

Yeah, it was a one possession game. No problem with him going to the rim. There was one play this season that was bush-league. Some team up a bunch got a tech on an alley-opp dunk with about 30 to go...Marquette, that was bush league.

Saw the replay Sutherland touched it last.......I'm sure JC was arguing for that and the 5 second close, that was very close also..................bottom line is you need to take care of the ball a heckuva lot better when you havean 8 point lead.........

Couldn't agree more. it was bush league crap...and if the situation was reversed, Calhoun would have been in the player's face. Poor sportmanship.

Waiters is a first class punk. Even CUSE fans admit he's a total who happens to play basketball pretty good. Well some of the time.

He will either shoot CUSE in or out of the tourney this year. I'm betting it's out.

he wanted a 5 second call on the inbounds. To me, being there and that play right in front of me, it sure did seem like more than 5 seconds
