Didn't Geno's son Michael go to East Catholic? Maybe Geno became friends with the coach and wants to support the team.

His son did play there, and pretty sure the coach, Luke Reilly, was there then. Geno must know him pretty well. Plus Geno lives in Manchester, may know some families, and East Catholic is very good, only one loss. So answer is probably in there somewhere.
