USC has been the best team in the tournament not named Gonzaga. Definitely Zags tourny to lose but if someone were to somehow knock them off USC seems like the team.

I agree with you that USC seems tailor made to give Gonzaga a game. I think Enfield is a pretty mediocre coach so it wouldn't surprise me if they crap the bed, but they have the pieces to do something here.

Look at it this way. If UConn were in the AAC Houston maybe doesn't get a 2 seed, and has to actually play a single digit seed.

We ended up with a 7 seed and got bounced in the first round, so I would say the "not playing more games" strategy didn't work out. But if you want to shout your ignorance out to the world, you do you.

Yup, if only we could have played Quinnipiac everything would have been different. Shame.

I'm far too lazy to crunch the numbers myself but I'd love to see a graph of games played/tournament win% for this tournament to see if any correlation exists. Also, games played/performance vs. seed.

When else are we going to get the kind of broad spread of number of games played that we saw this year? It could be enough to have some unique statistical significance.
